Introduction:

The game of shaking the crab, also known as shrimp-crab-fish, or shrimp-crab-fish-tiger, is a popular gambling game in Vietnam. Vietnamese people often play this game on holidays, especially during the Lunar New Year, similar to the game of Roulette in the West.

Shrimp-Crab-Fish-Tiger is a game originating from China, known as Hoo Hey How (魚蝦蟹, Han Viet: Ngư hà giải); (Fish (Hoo), Shrimp (Hey), Crab (How)).

Among British sailors in the past, a similar game was also popular on ships during leisure time or boredom when fishing at sea, known as Crown and Anchor. Crown and Anchor is popular in England, Belgium, the Netherlands, and France. American casinos have a similar game called Chuck-a-luck or Grand Hazard.

The game uses 3 dice with 6 sides. There are some variations in the images used in different places.

Rules:

Players place bets on one or more animals they choose, can bet on multiple animals in one round and up to 500 bet amounts.

Once the betting is done, press Play and open the bowl.

If the three dice show the animal on which the player has placed a bet, they will receive their bet amount back and the house must pay out an amount equal to the number of times that animal appears multiplied by the bet amount (Example: If a player bets 1,000 dong on fish and one fish appears, they receive 1,000 back; if two fish appear they receive 2,000; if three fish appear they receive 3,000 and get back their initial bet amount).
